Your support will be individual to you and all interventions will be tailored to meet your needs.
We offer individual and group sessions as well as mutual aid and peer support.
We have a cinema, cafe and pub group and the times per month are sent out in a text or email the weekend before we meet.
Fastrack is an intensive, 7-week Preparation for Higher Education programme for adults.
You will receive guidance in essay writing, taking and arranging notes, reading effectively, report writing, revision and examination techniques, presentation skills, time management, working in groups, strengths and weaknesses, action planning, target setting, confidence building, presentation skills, group work and course evaluation.
You will also gain an introduction to ICT covering IT awareness, the Internet, word processing, online databases.
This was to be achieved by effective basic training and continuous professional and vocational development in dementia.
The delivery of this objective was through Department of Health workforce strategies recognising and taking on board the implications of the dementia strategy.
